About JAIM

The Japan Association for Human Resources in Industrial Product Manufacturing was established in April 2025 with the aim of ensuring the proper and smooth acceptance of Specified Skilled Worker in the Industrial product manufacturing , and the following year, Skill Development Employees were also included. Japan's industrial products manufacturing industry boasts a long history and high technological capabilities, but in recent years, it has been called upon to take on new challenges due to the declining birthrate, aging population, and labor shortage.

Our mission is to support the future of the industrial product manufacturing industry by securing and developing diverse human resources, in order to maximize efforts to improve productivity in the industrial product manufacturing industry and secure domestic talent. To this end, it is important to create an environment in which foreign talent can work with peace of mind in Japan's industrial product manufacturing industry.

Specifically, we will ensure a transparent and fair process for accepting Specified Skilled Worker and Skill Development Employees through the development of codes of conduct and the implementation of skills assessments. Furthermore, we will strengthen cooperation with industry associations and accepting businesses to enable foreign talent to adapt to Japanese society and culture and to thrive in the long term, aiming to achieve both their growth and the development of Japan's industrial product manufacturing industry simultaneously.
