The Industrial Manufacturing Skills Human Resources Organization (IMHR) was established in April 2025 with the aim of realizing the appropriate and smooth acceptance of Specified Skilled Worker in the Industrial product manufacturing . Japan's industrial manufacturing industry boasts a long history and high technological capabilities, but in recent years, the declining birthrate, aging population, and labor shortages have called for new challenges.

Our mission is to support the future of the industrial manufacturing industry by securing and developing diverse human resources in order to maximize efforts to improve productivity in the industrial manufacturing industry and secure domestic human resources. To that end, it is important to create an environment in which Specified Skilled Worker can work with peace of mind in Japan's industrial manufacturing industry.

Specifically, we will promote a transparent and fair process for accepting Specified Skilled Worker by formulating a code of conduct and implementing skills evaluations. Furthermore, we will strengthen cooperation with industry associations and accepting businesses to ensure that Specified Skilled Worker can adapt to Japanese society and culture and play an active role in the long term, aiming to simultaneously realize the growth of Specified Skilled Worker with specified skills and the development of Japan's industrial manufacturing industry.
